I love the simplicity of use

Looks robust and well designed. Fits in the designated worktop hole cut as per instructions: always a tense moment. Like the fact the controls are on the top.

On the face of it the usual Bosch quality and sleek design but there are problems which become apparent when you start using it. The main issue is the cast iron pot stands. No matter how careful you are removing and replacing these for cleaning they will come into contact with the stainless steel hob service causing ugly scratches as the cast iron is a lot harder and heavier then the stainless steel. The other problem is with the control knobs which in this model are plastic. Being plastic if any pan base or other item comes into contact for even a split second they melt and get marked. Okay you can buy replacements but an extra £10 on the price to make these metal would have been a much better idea.
