had the same model before really good cheap little microwave and takes a large dinner plate.

Just purchased my first home and I need all the goods to go in it - this is a fantastic microwave for me; it looks smart and doesn't take up lots of room on the countertop but I can still fit my dinner plates in for reheating. (Just a note that my plates are 10.5" and just fit, but my parents' 11" plates don't, so check your plate size before buying!) It has plenty of useful functions for reheating etc and, for an 800w, I would say it heats quickly - about 60 secs for a hot cup of water. Very pleased with my purchase and think it's a great first microwave for a 1-2 person household.

Nice compact microwave, and easy to use. Defrost setting is particularly good, very even no burnt edges like some microwaves I have owned.

Brill microwave. Compact but enough power at 800 watts. The black colour of the unit makes it stand out.
