Disappointing
3/5
Very surprised no one is mentioning the fact that when you push the button to open the door, the whole oven moves across the kitchen work top. That's really poor - I was tempted to send it back, but instead secured it with some double sided tape on its base. The small black 'feet' on the base, of which there are only two, are just blobs of plastic and do not grip at all.
Also, the size of the oven - I measured it against the one I was replacing when ordering - more or less the same size? Well... this oven, internally, is smaller - so you may want to think about that one. Wasn't too much of an issue for me, but could be for some. A standard size dinner plate will never go in it... oh and final gripe, the way the glass plate is secured is pretty fragile and looks like it could easily dislodge - we shall see.
Overall, my last Sharp microwave lasted 12 years before it packed up - this new one, hmmm - the quality is down and the functionality is down too, not what I expected at all. Clearly corners have been cut to save costs and max profits. Still, on the bright side, it cooks stuff OK. I'd be amazed if it is still working in a year's time though... I know, what should you expect for £60? Well, a bit better than this!
