I am really delighted with this fridge freezer so far.
I've had it a week and I've gone from a 70/30 integrated to this freestanding 50/50.
Internal fridge:
- Water dispenser feature holds 2.5 litres. There's no drips from it after when you've filled your glass or water bottle up, so no floor spillage to clean up.
- The LED lighting makes the fridge light up well.
- Set at Mid setting, all products are chilled perfectly.
- The crisper fruit and veg drawer is great, holds a decent amount and the front of it is clear so you're less likely to forgot about things you put in the drawer as you can see them when you open the fridge door.
My only thoughts on how the fridge can be improved is to provide more shelf options so you can move the shelfs to different heights. There is only 1 additional shelving option to do this so you're really restricted on height on each shelf in the main body for your products.
I'd also suggest making the depth of the 2 upper shelfs in the actual door deeper so any glass/plastic bottles such as dressings etc don't fall out.
Internal Freezer - I love this.
- I can see into the drawers as the fronts are clear.
- The drawers fit a lot in and there's also the extra tray at the top which is perfect for ice cube trays and is also quite deep so can also pop other items on this.
- I love the wind channel at the top back of the freezer allowing an even distribution of cold air.
External
As I was replacing an integrated fridge freezer, this product was going into the same space, which was a built in cabinet raised off the floor.
An extra foot on the front right on the main body of the fridge, parallel to the one on the left would have made this fitting much smoother. The doors have to be outside of the enclosed cabinet space or they won't open, and the adjustable foot on the right hand side is attached to the door, not the body of the fridge, so it left it unbalanced and wobbling. This left me having to think outside the box and put in additional supports not included to prevent the appliance from moving.
This wouldn't be an issue if the appliance is going straight on to the floor.
Generally though, so far, I'm really pleased as punch with this fridge freezer. :)
