Looks good but two faulty products

    1/5
I had one of these delivered in April, it was the noisiest fridge freezer I’ve ever had. AEG sent an engineer who confirmed it was faulty. Replacement delivered, same problem. AEG have been awful to deal with - two engineer visits cancelled, bad service from AEG, refusal to provide compensation. AO.com have been brilliant but I’ll never buy an AEG product again, I’m getting an LG replacement. My advice, don’t buy this product! Looks good (hence the one star review) but two faulty products and awful service from the manufacturer, this product is style over quality.

Gimmicky name, but actually proved me wrong

    5/5
So context, we have a built in fridge in a new house, but we found it impossible to live with due to it being too small for our needs. We went looking for another fridge and knowing how good the reputation and the reliability for AEG was, we thought we'd give it a try as our second fridge, more to supplement the needs of the fridge and freezer. First impressions: Sleek, minimalist and just well designed. We love the matte feel glass front, which doesn't appear to attract too many fingerprints and is easy to clean. It was clean looking with with a minimalist design and really quiet. We love the LED lights on both sides - really bright and no more covering the only light source with some thing at the top of the fridge. Never thought I'd need them, but now I can't imagine living without them. Game changer of a fridge. Review: We initially thought of the name as a gimmick, but having put alot of our fresh fruit and veg in the dedicated tray, it has kept fresh for longer. Celery wasn't floppy and soggy, and the grapes stayed juicy for longer. I never thought that this was possible, evidenced by our past 2 fridges. I even did a little test with the built in fridge, and found the veg lasted longer from the same batch. Not scientific by any means, but enough to convince me. Freezer was just plain good. No frost and good amount of space. Literally nothing to criticize. We love the fridge, it has been a great addition to the family room, and the minimalist looks have been very suitable for the house and we have very much noticed the better cooling and freshness, along with just how quiet it is. This fridge/freezer comes very much recommended from us.

    Stylish spacious fridge

    5/5
This is a very spacious and stylish fridge freezer. It has lots of room and shelves on the inside. I like the feature of the extra cool drawer for cheeses etc. The matte black is stylish though it does show greasy fingerprints so beware. Other than that it is a much needed improvement to our old tired fridge so I am looking forward to using it. In particular, we like to meal prep so our fridge tends to be very full so the extra space will come in handy.

    Stylish new fridge freezer

I''m very happy with my new fridge freezer. It feels like a great upgrade from my old tired fridge freezer and has the feeling of being a high tech product. I am looking forward to making use of it. It is very spacious on the inside and plenty of space for my fresh goods which is great as I love cooking and batch making meals.

Space saving top performing fridge freezer

    5/5
I have been extremely pleased with this fridge freezer. Its very well designed to maximise the storage space, especially in the fridge section. All the shelves are adjustable, and it has a very square interior space that really does hold a lot of produce. The lighting and temperature control panel are also flat so they don't take up an unnecessary space. The lighting is white, bright and even, so even when opening the fridge in the dark it is extremely bright and easy to find what you are looking for. There are two big drawers in the fridge section to hold all your loose veg, salad etc. and one drawer has extra chill! Temperature control is very easy and intuitive to use. The freezer section has lots of space too, although the design of the drawers is a bit awkward as you have to lift and pull each drawer out to access the storage but this is a minor inconvenience. Both compartments have remained dry and free of either humidity or ice, which is such a bonus when taking produce out such as bottles or cans that are now easy to handle and not dripping wet, like they were with my old fridge. External appearance is very good with a sleek monolithic block design. Everything looks and feels good quality. I was worried that the outside of the fridge would be glossy and attract fingerprints but this not the case. The front of the doors are lined with a slab of opaque glass which gives the fridge a nice superior looking matt black finish, and the coating has so far remained mark free, even from the grubbiest of the children's fingers! What I also like about this fridge is that its not only freestanding, so ideal for my utility room, but its also quite narrow, so really doesn't take up too much space. Its also very quiet and I've yet to hear any of the usual fan noise or vibration that you would typically get from a fridge freezer. My last comment is about the efficiency of this fridge. This fridge operates on much less energy than my last fridge. Its amazing how much more efficient they are now compared to even a few years ago. So with soaring energy costs this has been an ideal time to swap to a newer more energy efficient appliance. I would whole heartedly recommend this fridge freezer.
