This is the 2nd Hisense fridge freezer that i have had within the last year. The first one, recommended by Which (RQ689N4) broke down, I was refunded and purchased this model which is a later model. More expensive. We are impressed. Keeps temps well.
We liked the quad arrangement. Very practical. We looked at full high side by side fridge freezers but the shelf height seemed to be quite far apart which would practically limit the storage space. I also didn't fancy bending down all the time to get to the veg drawers.. These shelves on the RQ758N4 are not as far apart, but fully adjustable as they are on a rack. It means you can get a lot into the fridge.
Comparing the two machines there is a vast improvement in the doors. With the first fridge freezer the doors had a tendency to always want to close. I had to use the wide veg tray to keep them open. This was frustrating when loading the shopping. And the LH door tended to need an extra hand to close. Both problems solved with the RQ758N. The doors stay open and close very nicely by themselves.
I also like the way both sides of the freezer can be kept at different temperatures. I keep RH at -16 which seems a perfect temp for ice cream and the LH side at -18. The LH side also has the superfreeze function. I.e. your ice cream will not get superhard when you superfreeze.
The water dispenser works very well although I have found that I need to use a funnel to fill it, otherwise water tends to go where it should not. If Hisense reads this, perhaps you could provide a funnel.
