This appliance could be made in Narnia, as it’s so big on the inside. It's also big on the outside. One of the delivery people said that the measurements of these kinds of appliance - not just this one - don’t take the top hinges into account. I don’t know if this is true or not, but it’s worth bearing in mind. Like the previous model we had, the freezer has a light - very welcome. It’s also very quiet. You wouldn’t know it’s on, except for the occasional tumble of new ice falling into the dispenser. The deep shelves in the fridge door are great. It’s much easier to see what we’ve got in there, and it’s less likely that things will get forgotten. The top half of the freezer door is taken up by the ice maker. So fewer shelves in the door, but plenty inside. The fridge has a nice big bottle rack, holding four or five bottles, so we can keep one or more in reserve. They have to go nose to tail to fit in, but that’s not a problem. It took a little while to get ice after the appliance was switched on, so we consulted the leaflet, which says up to 10 hours. In fact maybe it took four or five hours and we’ve had a great ice supply since. There are a few niggles: It’s hard to see which button is which for ice and chilled water, and both buttons are small. The labels are in small black type on a silver background. An illuminated symbol for ice/water comes on *after* you’ve pressed the button (rolls eyes). My workaround has been to type out dymotape labels. But should I have to do this for such an expensive item? Couldn’t someone have thought of making the buttons/labels bigger and more visible? A drawer for small items would have been nice, and our last appliance had one. My fix is to put a tray on one of the shelves. It's not possible to adjust the shelves' height, though you can remove them. Finally, it seems you have little choice over the colour at the moment. It's silver or (checks notes) silver. So the days of the fridge freezer matching your kitchen are over. For now. All in all, we’re very pleased with the product and would recommend it.

We’ve had this for over a week now and are loving it so far! Lots of space and very well laid out. We haven’t had a Hisense before but no complaints thus far. Would recommend!

Extremely happy with our fridge freezer. So nice having the ice machine too. Lots of room in both as we are a family of five.

Replaced an old Samsung with this one. It looks nice and has more space inside than my old one. Well laid out. Does all the things it should. But, my main criticisms are; The fridge door swings back to freely. The freezer door doesn't really open enough. My main gripe is the water/ice dispenser. I feel the whole black thing is too much. It needs a lighter background so the level stands out more and easier to see. Also there is no drip tray it goes into a depression and it does always drip once or twice after removing the glass. Also, the lever is situated quite high so you can not put your glass down to fill it. But, all in all, for the great a.o.com price that can't be beaten, it's good value for money.

It is less than half price from similar brand name fridges. Some reviewers commented that the insides look a bit "cheap", but I would rather call them basic and solid. Very roomy, and so far (only a week) everything works perfectly.
