Bumpy start but all came good

It's easy to rate 5 stars when everything goes well and 1 or 2 when they don't. The true measure, in my view, of a true 5 star service is when a company deals with problems. The appliance was delivered with a fault, which wasn't discovered until it was switched on after letting it settle. It sounded less like a fridge and more like a generator. Contacted the manufacturer as per AO instructions and they said they would need to send an engineer to confirm there was a fault and they might repair it or they might replace it, depending on the fault. Given that at this point it was less than 24 hours since delivery I wasn't satisfied. I contacted AO, explaining the situation and they said that they would speak to the manufacturer, but as it was less than 30 days since delivery that it should be a replacement. They confirmed this with the manufacturer and asked me to let them know if the manufacturer didn't get in touch by a set time, which they didn't, so AO got on to them again and were able to confirm that the application would be swapped for a new one. Sometimes things go wrong, but AO were great at helping me sort it out and I'm pleased to report that the replacement is working as well as the reviews say.
