This is a great freezer. The upright profile means it's footprint is small. In terms of cooling its brilliant. The controls are easy to use and the front panel can be locked to avoid accidentally messing with the controls. The freezer has a lot of storage space and I love the slim line ice maker.

Excellent freezer. Ice function works well. Loses 2 stars for difficultly swapping door opening side — due to the design, when screwing the levelling foot into the other side, the plastic you have to push through ended up in the thread. Easily removed with tap and die set, but this isn’t something everyone will have at home.

A bit more expensive than some of the comparable models, but you get what you pay for. Good solid build quality with a sleek modern look. Loads of room and easy to see contents. So much easier than my previous chest freezer. Control panel is very intuitive, didn’t even have to read the instructions. Early days yet, but very happy so far.

Best freezer I have ever owned over my sixty plus years. Very quite running and the ice cube box is fantastic. Well pleased

So far so good. It's a nice looking freezer and the inside is mostly well thought out also I love having an internal light. It's only been here a while but the temperature seems to be very stable. The ice maker is a bit of a gimmick. It's rather complicated for what a couple of ice cube trays could probably do just as well. The front display is hopeless. You can only see the temperature if you either open the door, or press "freezer" on the display. You can't just see it from across the room. I thought that the WiFi dongle might be worth buying, because presumably you could set it to alarm you if the temperature rises, and you could check it from anywhere. Unfortunately, Samsung don't supply it although they told me that "you should be able to get it from a reputable third party dealer". They didn't suggest who that might be and I'm still looking. Overall, it's a decent freezer and I don't regret buying it but it definitely comes with a few quirks.
