    My Oven

    5/5
This oven is really straight forward to use! There are two dials and a clock. One dial is for the function, and one for the temperature. I've not had it long but I am really pleased how its cooked our food so far. The clock is easy to set, and there is also a timer. This is just a reminder, not something that can start your oven at a certain time. I am really looking forward to using the diamond clean function. It heats up the oven at 100 degrees and then the oven is easy to clean. The temperature dial goes up to 250 degrees. The programmes available are - Convection (one shelf only) Convection bake (this is the one we use the most, 2 shelves, fan cook) Grill, Turbo grill (for large joints of meat) Eco Convection bake (cooking economically on one shelf only) Bread auto and Pastry auto. The bread and pastry was haven't used as this isn't our thing. Then the diamond clean is the last function on the dial. The only negative we have is that the oven only comes with 1 shelf and one tray, and this is without a tray rack for the grill. I have looked in to buying these online so will go ahead and do this soon. I am really pleased with the oven and as I said it is definitely an improvement from my old one.

A Simple but Effective, Stylish Family Oven.

    4/5
The oven is a lovely mix of stainless steel and black glass and looks simple but stylish. The LED display is nice and large - perfect if your close vision is deteriorating - I don't have to put my glasses on to set the timer!. The main components of the oven are really easy to use, which is good as the leaflet that comes with the oven is very basic in it's instructions. Due to this I have yet to fathom out how to use the automatic cooking functions (the bread and the dessert functions). The oven beeps when it reaches it's set temperature which is good as it reminds you to put the food in if you are busy with something else. It takes about 15 minutes to reach the set temperature which is on a par with my previous oven. The oven has a Diamond Clean function which allows dirt and food residue to be removed with ease. I like this function as I struggled to clean my previous oven. I have not yet used this function though so cannot comment on how effective it is. It also has a grease proof enamel coating on the inside to help prevent sticking. The outside has a finger/mark resistant coating which is good - I haven't noticed any finger marks on it and I've tried making some! I like the Turbo Grill function which is a combination of oven and grill which is perfect for roasting large joints of meat, chicken etc. It has a Convection function for cooking any dish on one shelf and a Convection Bake for cooking on more shelves. The oven has a large 71 litre capacity which is ideal for a family. However, it comes supplied with only one wire shelf and a baking tray. I would prefer 2 wire shelves and a wire rack to go in the baking tray for grilling. The oven seems sturdy, durable and of good build quality - even the knobs. Overall, I would highly recommend this oven if you are after a basic, family oven with a few added features. PROS - Looks good, good build quality, value for money, main functions easy to use. CONS - Only one wire shelf, leaflet not very detailed so difficult to work out the automatic cook functions.
