If like me you love coffee, then this is the machine for you. This is our second sage barista coffee machine. Our 1st sage barista machine is still going strong and now resides with me at work, as I couldn’t put up with instant coffee any longer. The machine is well designed and easy to use. Setting it up was quick and easy. You may find that you have to adjust the grind to either a bit more course or fine to get the optimum flavour. A lot of this comes down to different beans I have found. The machine fires up quickly when turned on as well. The steam function for frothing milk takes a few goes to get it right, bit once mastered it’s a piece of cake. There is also a low water warning too once your almost out which our last machine didn’t have. I also like the fact that you don’t need to move your cup once the coffee has expressed, to fill with hot water, as the hot water spout is aimed perfectly in to the cup. The nice thing about this coffee machine is that you get to be the barista, and are in complete control of your coffee.

Brilliant machine, looks great, easy to use and clean.. Have made espresso.. cappuccino.... americano... Espresso martini ( my favourite) and a good old favourite Irish coffee..

This was a major upgrade for us. Our previous Delonghi machine had served us well but was now dying. Following advice from an artisan coffee roaster in Bristol I went for this machine. It is superb! I buy premium coffee beans anyway but this machine delivers better quality espresso than I thought possible for the price. If you are a bit of a coffee snob like me then this is well worth your money.

We did a lot of research to work out which espresso machine would offer the best quality versus value for money and settled on the Sage Barista Pro. It’s easy to use, easy to clean and as long as you use some decent beans, makes a fantastic coffee. It’s not cheap but so far it’s seems that you get what you pay for.

It’s great, it’s fun... but not for everyone. If your espresso is more than “down-in-one and go” thing, then this machine is just perfect. It helps fine tuning the ritual of coffee making by bringing nuisances of the process to your attention and allowing you to learn. You can adjust virtuall everything, including the temperature of your beverage. But be warn - learning process can result in caffeine overdose, as in pursuit of that perfect shot, you will try many cups...

This machine is fantastic! Easy to set up, easy to use and professional tasting coffee every time... we would definitely recommend this coffee machine.

This machine makes fantastic, delicious coffee. Fact. ... just don’t think that you will be able to achieve that first time around. Machines like this require a bit of patience and thought, and trust me - you will make amazing drinks. If you don’t want to put any effort in, spend time looking at different coffee beans etc and not learn how to froth milk properly, then get a machine that takes one of those pre-made pods. However, if you’d do put a bit of time and effort in to this, you will make far better and superior drinks than anything you can get from a pod. (Think about the plastic your saving as well!) 100% go buy this.

We had the predecessor to this Sage Barista. The enhancements are great and have been well thought out. There are many much more expensive models but this does everything that we need for a great cup of coffee.
