    Perfect little oven

    4/5
Brilliant oven, the controls are easy to use once you get used to all the settings but the settings are amazing. Love that there is a proving option and an easy clean setting. Only thing is the touch pad is tricky to use at times but I’m sure after a while i will get used to it. Definitely recommend

    Decent oven for price

    4/5
Not a bad oven for the money, easy to fit as it comes with a 13 amp plug attached and it just slots into your existing cupboard and is held with 2 small screws. It comes with 1 wire shelf, 1 solid shelf, a wire rack and a deep dip tray . No dedicated grill pan but you make one out of the rack and the deep pan. The controls are not bad it's a touch screen with a central multi function knob that adjust either cooking time or temperature or mode. I personally think the 2 knob type of ovens are slightly easier to use as you find yourself constantly changing the mode of the one dial. The steam clean system 8f a bit naff . You just pour a drop of water in the base of the oven and turn it on.. this evaporates the water which loosens any baked on fat slightly. We found that the recommended 200mm of water ends up running out of the bottom of the oven during the program. We now use less. One thing to note, if you live in a hard water area this steam system leaves limescale as the water evaporates.. which you then have to clean off ... As an oven the food comes out well cooked and I would purchase another one.

Good oven, clean it each time you use it and place the tray of water in the bottom when cooking, except when you want crackling! Works well easy to use

    Excellent purchase

Really pleased so far. My big problem with my previous oven was that the temperature was never quite right, this Hotpoint seems to be spot on. At first glance it seems to be overly complicated in terms setting the type of cooking required, temperature etc but i’ve soon got used to it and really like it. The on/off switch was a bit temperamental the first couple of times I used it but seems to have settled down. I feel it could do with coming with another wire shelf but overall really pleased and feel i’ve got a bargain.
