Great buy. Never had a tumble dryer before so can't judge against others but I like it. Not to noisy, haven't had it long enough to know what it's costing in electric but it has been a godsend to have as I have friends staying and there is a lot of washing

The produce works as well as the reviews said. It looks good and works fab!

Overall very happy with this machine which replaces a standard condenser dryer. Drying time is maybe slightly longer than the old BEKO, but machine runs a lot cooler & doesn't radiate as much hot air into the room. The lint filter is in 2 parts, which seems to catch more so I'm sure that will help keep the internal parts cleaner. Runs fairly quiet, better than the old one & is super easy to operate.

Perfect for a rented flat where I was unable to vent, seems very efficient and quiet.

I was unsure about a heat pump tumble dryer, as had only ever used the vented type previously. I was also unsure about the 8kg capacity, but now that me and my wife had become empty nesters, we were clear that we didn’t need anything larger. Finally, I was unsure about the Electra name as we had always gone for ‘bigger-name’ white goods. I shouldn’t have worried! The heat pump tumble dryer has exceeded our expectations. We have so far completed our loads on a shorter cycle (less than an hour) and find that this has been adequate when combined with an air-dry on the clothes airer. Also, with a shorter cycle, the clothes come out wrinkle-free which saves time all round. The machine does what we need it to do and is more than sufficient for the smaller household. The water reservoir is easily emptied after use, and the lint-filter is easily accessible. Overall, we’re very pleased with the machine, and would recommend it to anyone.

Its a good dryer. I chose it on the basis of the projected energy savings over 5 years compared with the cheapest model for the size. The old condensing dryer released a lot of heat and humidity into the room. The new machine is very cool in comparison. The lint filter is a two part design which helps reduce the dust emitted. One criticism is the 'sharp' styling: all the edges are sharp. Not so sharp as to cut, but enough to hurt. I have taken sand paper to round off the edges.

Pretty impressed with this product, always had vented dryers before so wasn't sure if it would be better, but it has a sensor so it stops when the clothes are dry, which will help save on the electric bills I'm sure! It's not overly loud, you've got to make sure you empty it and clear the lint holder after every use, a varied number of programs too, very happy!

First time I used it, I was very annoyed with myself, for choosing a heat pump dryer cause it did'nt even feel warm, A big but after, when I understood how to use it properly, I love it, better than the bigger Candy one I had b4, just use the right settings ,empty the water from the top pullout drawer, when it gets a bit full, keep the filter clean and put a full load in, really helps get the best use and economy from it. I 1000% recommend this dryer!
