After my excellent White Knight drier finally broke down I wanted a replacement but sadly they are no longer made. Searching the internet no one had stock of a simple vented tumble drier, technology had moved on. The few still made we’re all out of stock. After doing some research this type of drier seemed to suit our needs. I was worried as reviews said heat pump driers took longer to dry, some quoted 3 hrs per load. However I am very impressed with this drier. The timer initially says 3 hrs but self adjusts as the programme goes on and most times it’s done much quicker. Doesn’t take any longer than my old vented drier. You don’t need a hole in the wall to put a venting hose through as the machine collects the water, which needs emptying after each cycle. Just like a dehumidifier. As long as you select the correct programme for the items and most importantly the heating level L1, L2 or L3 you get a perfect level of dryness. The items come out soft not dried hard and with no static. Not sure why? If this drier lasts as long as my old White Knight I shall be delighted. My five stars are based on my use so far. Plus it’s rated A++ for energy use which is so much better than vented driers.

Easy to use. Also being a heatpump saves energy. Definitely take longer to dry clothes. But saves energy. There ere are plenty of programs to choose from. Great price. Would recommend.

So far so good.. really impressed with the drying capabilities for the price ,does exactly what we needed it for and economic.

Brilliant so far! Very efficient, drys clothes really well. Nice nifty light when you open to door. And the humidity sensor adjusts the time accordingly so you’re not waiting 3+ hours for your stuff to dry when on extra high heat! Great product and service from AO. The delivery guy called when he was 10 mins away and was very efficient and polite. Very good value for money.
