Having been told by a friend how good this hoover is I asked my husband for one for Christmas and am really looking forward to using it.

The HX2 is a great hoover, it easily rivals a good powerful corded hoover but with much less weight and better manoeuvrability. It's a joy to use and does an excellent job. However the bin mechanism is overly convoluted, it's suction is that good that this also needs thorough cleaning after most uses as it's so small a container which is messy and time consuming. The only other thing to mention is that the wall mount is next to useless as it has no fixed jack for the charger that would charge when placed in the holder, instead you still need to plug it in yourself meaning there's not much point using the holder and just leaving it freestanding. Having said that we're happy with the purchase due to the excellent cleaning ability and would recommend it on that alone provided you can live with the shortcomings.

Easy to assemble, easy to empty, is strong and robust, and works very well.

I absolutely love this amazing cleaner my to little puppies loved it to when I was unpacking they run of with my brush roller the extra one you get for different carpets oh well hopefully I never need it :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Very good product, performs well.Major niggle is the small capacity of the dust collector, and the fiddly mechanism to release and refit.

So on day one I was a bit frustrated naturally when I charged it up I started hoovering at max and i found the elctrobrush was not rolling properly. And battery ran out in less than 15 minutes.On day 2 I started in low setting this time elctrobrush worked as expected and the quality of clean was awesome.To summarise you really don't need the max function, 99% of the time the low or moddle setting is good and I can do whole 4 bed house and have plenty of juice left.I just hope the machine lasts long. Warranty doesn't appear to be 5 years like Dyson although I might be wrong.
