This was bought to replace an existing upright Miele vacum cleaner bought over 15 years ago but still going strong. The Triflex is light but powerful and is easy to use.

unbelievable how much it picks upthe instructions for emptying and cleaning the dust section is not clear

Well engineered as expected from Miele. Strong suction. Easy to assemble into the three positions. Appreciate the stand up feature when vacuum unit in lower position.

Very pleased so far. One slight niggle, I would like a larger dust collector

The brush head works well on both carpet and solid surfaces. Also the smaller head is good on stairs. The size of the bin and process to empty could be improved. We use an old chopstick to get the dust and dirt out. Also charge level indicator instead of a single LED would be useful. Overall the best vacuum cleaner we have had, but quite expensive and some room for improvement.

Love this vacuum cleaner. The suction power is unbeatable and I like having the choice of being able to have the power unit at the top or at the bottom of the suction tube. Unfortunately I do have two problems though with this vacuum cleaner. The first is I found it very difficult to open the dust cleaner even after following instructions in the manual.Secondly I found the fully charged battery has only enough power to clean the downstairs of my house and not upstairs. I was quoted the price of £168.69 for a spare battery which I decided was much too expensive, so I just have settle for doing the vacuum cleaning over a period of two days which is not ideal!

Absolutely outstanding

Typically well engineered Miele product that has great suction and picks up really well. Two downsides though. The "bin" is very small and difficult to open. Also you have to plug in the charger independently unlike our D777n which charges automatically when placed in its wall cradle.
