Seems really good quality and solidly built. Slightly uneven browning maybe

I wasn't torn between the 2 and 4 slice because of size but this toaster is perfect for looking great and fitting in your kitchen by being the long and thin version. It takes thick slices of bread without smoking and setting off your detector and the warming rack we got to sit on top is perfect for keeping everything warm through when we have guests.

Superb toaster from Smeg. Even consitency of toasting especially from frozen. Lightly toasts buns for burgers good alrounder

I ordered this toaster which was as fabulous but just to big for my kitchen. Called so.com couldn’t be more helpful refunded difference picked up toaster and replaced same day with smaller one. Highly recommend. So much so I went onto buy matching kettle and steam mop.

I bought the toaster and kettle and I love them both. The toaster is excellent looks great and is very functional a I very happy and would 100% recommend

We have wanted a Smeg "big slot" toaster for years. Rarely toasting more than two items at a time, what the "4 slice" capacity gives us, is maximum versatility. We like to toast so much more than just slices of bread. And, wow. It really looks great in the kitchen. A real feature. So much better than any other toaster we have ever had. Hopefully it wont take us too much longer to save up for the matching kettle !

I had just renovated my kitchen and wanted to add some feature products to go in it... this toaster did not disappoint! Looks amazing and has a great classic design... the toast out of it isn't bad either!

Never did I think I would love a toaster , but this is a beautiful little addition to our kitchen .
