Love this toaster, I have got the matching kettle. I was at first surprised to only see two extra long slots rather than the normal four. However side by side it fit 4 slices of normal sliced bread quite nicely. Yes you can probably get a similar quality toaster for a lot less, however I am pleased I indulged.

Lovely colour and solid design

Hesitated at first due to price. Feedback on all toasters was a disappointment when it came to simple ability to consistently brown the bread without patchy results or burnt toast. So why not just buy a cheap product I thought. Glad I bought a SMEG - Excellent product:Great design and well made. A nice looking toaster that performs well -for toasting bread, crumpets or bagels.
