Cracking dryer with all the programme you need and looks good as well. Bought to replace a 12 year old Miele condenser dryer that’s given up the ghost

For a "high end" clothes dryer, it lacks just one thing--it doesn't dry clothes very well. My wife is not happy with this dryer so far. I did find the section in the instruction manual for Programming functions like "drying levels", but accessing the programming level certainly does not work according the the instructions. The instructions clearly say that "Before starting," make sure that the programme selector is turned to any of the programme settings, and also to make sure that the door of the tumble dryer is open. Step 1 is then to touch the "Start/Add laundry" sensor control. The problem is that when the door is open, the "Start/Add laundry" sensor is NOT available! I'll try contacting Miele directly, but when My wife is not happy, I am not happy.

Am loving using this product so far. Nice and quiet too

Efficient drying, quiet. Filters easy to clean. Only thing I found less than good were the drying categories on the dial - I have lots of ‘mixed’ loads rather than a whole one of, for example, shirts, easy care, delicates etc. But once I tried the programmes I soon worked out what to use.

The tumble dryer works quietly and well. The large door makes access to the interior easy.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to admit that I am somewhat disappointed with my Miele tumble dryer! My old Miele washing machine was amazing and I had the same high hopes for my new dryer. I believed that it was the right one for me, being more eco and was prepared for some extended drying times however the actual drying of anything in this model falls short in all of the programs I have so far tried out. I don't seem to get any really dry washing and as I don't have an airing cupboard it is difficult to air any damp washing without hanging it out all over my radiators which was not my goal. In the summer my washing will go out on the line to dry so it is now that I expect my tumble dryer to perform. I chose this model as my first choice was unavailable. I trusted that in paying a bit more it would be better but I have to say that I don't think it is worth the money I paid for it. I really don't see the point of all of the extra bells and whistles if the main function is inadequate. The only thing I am impressed with is the amount of water it extracts and the ease of cleaning the filters. Sorry Miele I don't recommend this particular model.

I’ve had a Miele washing machine previously and it was excellent so I knew the brand. I decided to pay an extra few hundred pounds as Which? has recommended this heat pump condenser dryer. It doesn’t disappoint and I would unreservedly recommend this product although it is pricey.
