not cheap but well made hope it will last , bought too replace a SMEG .

I really like the fact you can determine the temperature of the water you are heating if you don’t require boiling water, as the control panel has various settings. Water left in the kettle can also be kept at a constant temperature. I’m also very pleased with the sleek design of the Bosch kettle.

Cannot recommend this kettle as there is an issue with the temperature setting feature. I have had two kettles and both have developed the same fault. It works perfectly for a few weeks, but then the temperature setting feature develops a fault. If you set the temperature anywhere between 80 and 100 degrees, the kettle will always stop heating at 80 degrees and has to be restarted. The dial still continues up to the set temperature before dropping back, but the heating has stopped. Have tried using a descaler, but that makes no difference. Very disappointing for such an expensive item.

Purchased to replace an earlier version of this kettle that was bought a few years ago. The original was still working but the latest one is an upgrade with variable temperature control not just 70,80,90,100 degrees. Slightly heavier than the last which might be a problem for some but a very nice functional kettle.

Having to replace the predecessor to this kettle was a disappointment as it was such a nice bit of kit, still this was done to me being clumsy and not a fault of the product which was faultless. Still I got to purchase this new Bosch kettle which is even better than the previous, looks so slick in my kitchen, the new touch temp panel is very nice and it works perfectly. Would definitely recommend as it looks and works brilliantly.

So far i am absolutely loving my new Bosch Kettle, its not heavy, yet holds lots of water, It's easy to use, & boils super quick. I just hope it lasts longer than my last few choices. I have to say i think this is the best kettle, ive ever owned

This is our third Bosch kettle with a temperature selector and this new model is a far cry from the previous model. The stainless steel liner rather than the previous plastic liner that leaked on the join is much better and will be unaffected by routine descaling, plastic did not take too kindly to boiling vinegar! The digital touch temperature setting now on this model is another big improvement. This is not to say that I was unhappy with the old model on the contrary hence the reason for ordering this new model.
