I’m liking this better than my previous kettles so far. Time will tell how reliable it will be. I have found many previous kettles have given up the ghost just outside the guarantee period, as a result I have taken to buying cheaper kettles for the last few and found they’ve lasted just as well. This time I particularly wanted a replacement for a much cheaper variable temperature kettle that actually lasted 5 years and was good. I find this new one, although more expensive, superior. I like that the outside remains cool to touch, I like that I can see the water level easily (although I’d prefer the water not to be in contact with plastic which I think the water level indicator might be). I like that the kettle is stainless steel mostly inside. I love the way it looks and I love that it is easy to pour without spills or drips. It is easy to fill and you can also easily see the water level inside the kettle as you fill it. It has an easy to operate button to open the lid, actually on top of the lid, and the controls for heating the water are easily operated buttons on the base. Water heated in it tastes good. It feels well made and substantial and I hope it proves to be as good as the first impressions it has made.

Not used it as it is a gift for my daughter for Christmas as this is what she realy wanted as it looks realy smart.
