This was bought in the Black Friday sale to replace a previous generation 49” Samsung TV that had developed a shadow down the screen after about 5 years (hopefully this one will last longer). The operating system and picture are an improvement over the old TV - dark scenes now have more definition so there’s less squinting to see what’s happening - though some scenes can look a little blocky in areas where colours are very similar shades, but that might also depend on the quality of the input (we can’t get ultra-fast broadband). The sound output was immediately linked to a soundbar so we can’t comment on the quality of the built-in speakers. We did set up the voice assistant which is a novelty to use and does work as long as you know what to tell it - “BBC One” won’t work for instance, but saying the channel number will, and to find out anything else seems a bit trial and error, after which you’ve resorted to picking up the remote and doing it the old-fashioned way. Alexa does the same thing just as well and sounds less weird when she talks to you, so we just use that integration instead. Overall we are very happy with the purchase so far and would recommend it, longevity concerns aside. The picture could be a little better and the OS a touch more responsive, but there’s nothing that makes this not a worthy purchase for the price bracket.

Great TV, I found the Samsung app for setting it up buggy so I gave up and logged on using my usual account logins but this is quick when using your phone as you can just scan the QR code on the screen. Picture is crisp and it looks very sleek mounted on the wall.

We have always had Samsung TV and when the one in our lounge failed we brought this one to replace it, over all, great, only nuggle is the firmware doesn’t allow some setting the old one had.

The TV is really good and the quality of the picture is as good as it can get for this price. It's packed with the required smart features and provides for a nice TV in the non-LED range. There is a slight lag in the response to the smart remote, especially if you are using an external device. Had some teething issues with Alexa that were eventually resolved.

Great looking TV and good picture for the price. Especially good deal from AO who had the best price. The only reason for 4 stars is that there are other better TVs albeit more expensive

Great picture, love the fact it comes with two remotes; one of which being solar panel!
