Detergent Not All Used From The Draw!
3/5
I used the eco program for first wash after “really” studying the instructions. I was disappointed to find stains remaining on an towel and liquid detergent remaining in the draw at the end of cycle. This arguably may have needed a pre treatment or a different program? However, you would expect the program to have thoroughly rinsed the Ariel out of the draw as a basic, I wonder if this is a fault? BEKO insist that this “liquid” draw be used, and that liquid should not be added to the drum directly. I measured the amount required, allowed for hard water hardness and topped up to the full line with hot water, all as directed. In my opinion, the control dial needs work so that the programs are easier to recognise without reference to the instructions. The water consumption without extra rinse selected is shown to be in the mid-90 litre per cycle on a full load. This seems a lot, and makes you think carefully before selecting cottons, but for bedding and towels you need this setting and 60 degrees to get decent results. It is quiet in operation. I hope it grows on me.
