Good machine but needs design tweaks, hence 4 stars.

Let’s start with the positives: I could not find a 1600 rpm spin on any other model of the integrated washer type. So when it does the full 14 minute 1600 spin the clothes come out lightly damp which is great. This was also the only integrated machine I could find where you can adjust the rear feet from the front - well done Beko. There is also a spirit level hidden under the drawer - great idea see the negative below though. There are a great number of program choices, the fast option is not available on all of them but it does do the job. It’s also so quiet during wash, and acceptable on loudness during spin. I like the large porthole door and the fact you can add clothes if you forget - no waiting a few minutes for the door to open . Though you can’t do this every stage of the wash. The LED time remaining is clear also. Moving to the negatives: The 1600 rpm spin time is reduced if it is linked to a cotton fast wash, yet on a cotton full wash it does it. So it’s a bit annoying because it’s best to do a rinse hold and then go manually into the full 14 minutes long spin to get the most effective dry result. I think this is a massive design flaw. My machine was also replaced because the spin on the original one made such a racket it suggested to me the bearings were gone. The Spirit level mentioned above, gives false readings. Essentially it wanted me to level the machine wonky and off balance, so I had to use my own. I just can’t see the point in having fitted it if it gives wrong messages to the consumer. It’s a nonsense and I think Beko need to go back and look at this. Then the water pipe was so ridiculously short - just half a metre more would make all the difference. The drawer also has sometimes water left in it, again design flaw reported by others in their comments. It also does not pull out easily for cleaning also and the markings inside it are really poor in terms of where to place what .And now let’s go to the instruction manual, really confusing at times, Again why don’t they sit around with a group of consumers and check their full understanding. It even says that you should dilute liquid washing liquid when putting it into the drawer what a nonsense! Other than that, not a bad machine, it just needs tweaks and more customer involvement if it’s going to really be a like for like competitor to the more premium brands, because in some ways you can sense from the quality it’s aspiring to be of that more premium level. Top Marks to AO although, on every aspect of their service.

    Quiet, good size

    5/5
Much quieter than my old machine. I was worried the 7kg drum wouldn’t be big enough but already washed the dog bed with some towels too so very pleased with that!
