This grinder is great, I upgraded from a basic electric grinder when buying an espresso machine and this does the job well. I like the different options for grind size and amount and have been experimenting in my filter machine, espresso machine and chemex. So far it has made good grinds for all 3. The machine is quick, quiet and easy to use and I would recommend it.

Fantastic grinder when discounted.

Bought this as a replacement for a much cheaper model that broke. I chose this as it advertised as being able to grind for espresso, which my previous machine could not do. AO also price match!
Overall very happy. It’s fast and much much quieter than my old model. I ended up buying the matching kitchen aid espresso machine as well and have, ever since, been using trial and error to dial in the perfect grind for espresso, which is proving far more challenging than I expected. It’s also worth pointing out you can programme the time it grinds for, so you can adjust to your preferred grind amount. This makes switching between grinds for espresso and grinds for my aeropress pretty speedy, with just a twist of the dial.
Very pleased with this grinder, although that’s largely because of the lower price I paid. There are likely alternative models for little more than the full price of this item that may be better for serious home baristas. But for the convenience factor of quick switching between grind size, reasonably consistent grind, and ability to brew an espresso of sorts, this is definitely worth it.
