Disappointing QA from Hotpoint

Well…the oven arrived and looked just fine.
When all was prepared for connection and installation it was not possible to tighten the electrical connection. One of the contact-fixings was faulty and the job had to be cancelled.
We now await the Hotpoint repairer to replace the connection-block. Poor manufacturing I’m afraid.

Bought for my son to replace an existing oven that was not working when he moved into his first flat. This fitted the bill and was easy to swap the old one out and the new one in. Reasonable price, hopefully will be reliable , only time will tell
