Replaces the old Britannia 70cm hood. Bright lights and quiet fan.

Definitely not futuristic, but functional
4/5
Some buying decisions are made for specific reasons. We chose this hood because it was almost identical to the 15-year-old broken one it replaced - and so we guessed it would fit the hole in the chimney above our cooker. In that regard it was in a league of its own, 5-stars, great fit. But that doesn't help you at all, right? So you're probably going to want to know that it was pretty well priced, perhaps a bit loud (setting 4 on the fan is like a jet taking off) but effective. And the lights are bright enough that we can see our cooker again, which really helps! Also you might reflect that if the basic design appears to be over 15 years old, perhaps there might be some more effective modern options you can go for.

Extractor fan

Super product, looks good, does everything it should do and the sound level is low.

Very noisy fan
1/5
Very noisy on all speeds. The item was compared with fridges, desk top fans and kettles for the noise levels which is not comparable for them at all.
This is the third one we've had, but they are getting progressively louder. The only reason we've purchased a third one is it fits in the hole.

Cheaply made and hazardous to install
1/5
Flimsy design, non-standard star shaped screws making it difficult to install and unfinished edges meant several nasty cuts while installing.
Overall a very poor product.

Great!
5/5
Excellent replacement for our Britannia fan. Exact same size. Works as descibed. Delivery on time with AO. Very happy. Would recommend.
