So I had bought another Heat Exchange tumble dryer recently, a bit dubious about how well it dried using such little energy, quite right it wasn't very good at all. It went back. So back to C-rating? I didn't want to do that either so I scoured the web for reviews and came back with this result so I took a punt. It's still A++, so I still had concerns, but for no reason, this dries just as well as my recently retired tumble drier that has the power consumption equivalent to that of a kiln. This LG is dead easy to set up, wifi links easily, it has a nice big door and looks good, importantly it dries well either over a period of time or by the time you set. And all clothes are dry and sheets no way near the wet lump with baked edges that my oldest tumble dryer spat out. And it's quiet, not enough for you to pop it next to the TV but in another room you won't know it's on, until the app pings you a message to say it's finished. What don't I like? Well, it's a very deep unit, so if your're dropping into a "normal" kitchen it may stick out, not a concern for me, it's in the utility. Yeyyyy

Great bit of kit, very quiet and fits loads in. First experience of heat pump technology, takes longer to dry but not a problem.

The tumble dryer was really easy to install and has been easy to use. The multiple different setting options are great for making sure I don't accidentally shrink any clothes. The water container is simple to remove and empty and doesn't require any real faff.

First time we've had a heat pump dryer, and we're blown away by how effective it is. It dries quickly and completely, and even when you don't use the 'crease-free' setting, things come out barely creased and very easy to iron. We've been drying shirts to the 'iron-ready' level and ironing them is like a dream. Hugely recommended. All so easy to use we're on top of our washing all the time now.
