I replaced my previous oven, which was the same, but earlier model. It lasted for 8 years and was excellent. It was the workhorse oven andour family of 5 used it every day almost. I'm an enthusiastic cook and write cookbooks, so it was used a lot. Probably triple the usual household usage. It definitely served us well! I decided to change it to the newer model because it had been used so much, and the cost of repairs could have mounted up. I just decided to get a new one. I have 2 Siemens ovens, the other is running fine and is also 8 years old, but isn't used anywhere near as much.
