We have tried out using this tumble dryer with a few towels, and after an hour and twenty minutes, they had dried off nicely. I like the programmes that are included with it, and the drum light is a lovely addition too.

It's certainly streets ahead of our ageing traditional condenser dryer, which was rebuilt twice and on its last legs. The new Sharp feels vastly higher quality and uses vastly less power. It does seem to be a bit fiddly to get items fully dry, but it's nice and quiet. The old one used to fill the room with steam, which this one does do half as much - a plus if you're trying to keep condensation under control. The Sharp is also much quieter and more solid-feeling. The door hinging on the right hand side (so you open it with your left hand if looking straight at the machine) caught me out slightly, I've not really seen one that works that way, but as a left-hander I quite like it. The light inside the drum is a neat touch and adds to a high quality feel to the unit, and the settings on the front are quite intuitive. Overall, it's a nice unit.

Very happy with this tumble dryer so far. Wasn't sure how a heat pump dryer would compare with our old vented dryer, and though it takes longer, it's not as long as you expect. Just found out you can also change the sensor dryness level with this model so I'll be tweaking that. Plus, discovered the small hose you can attach for waste water stretches as far as our utility room sink, so that's a win too - means you don't have to empty the water tank (which does need to be done after each load, otherwise). It does make various rumbling sounds, but no worse than our old vented dryer, so that's another concern allayed. So far, so good!

I love this machine. I got this to replace an aging vented dryer that had developed a faulty timer. While this is a little more complex to use at first and needs regular maintenance after each use the benefits were immediately evident to me. I have q home battery system that can supply 3kw to the house this machine draws about 400 to 500w meaning I can easily now have the tumble and washing machine running at the same time. Installation is really easy and after a bit of reviewing the manual so is operation Ours is in the garage so this machine is ideal as it can operate as low as 5c Happy with the drying although I've now upped the drying level on the preset by 1 and they clothes are coming out warm and dry.

Just very reasonable drying time and very well made item. Noticed a good fall in my energy usage compared to the previous condenser dryer l had. Very happy
