Love it, love it, love it!
5/5
My old Maytag of 18 years died a death last week, and although I have only had my Bosch for a couple of days I absolutely love it.
Not only is it aesthetically pleasing it holds more than you think?
I thought my old one was big, but I have replaced everything in fridge and still have loads of room.
It does help that being a French Door style you have more versatility on shelf arrangement and of course the Flexi Bar that I thought was a 'bit of a gimmick' has proved useful even at this stage as I have tiny pots in one, the flat tray not used yet and although only one bottle holder fits a bottle of Champagne on its side with another boxed underneath, perfect.
There is a large amount of door space to fit cartons or bottles, but if not full I suspect they may rattle around when the doors are opened, some sort of restrainer would be useful. (not a problem I have!)
The ice maker is amazingly effective but is very big, so put my cooling sheaths underneath along with physio cooling sheaths. These can be removed if I ever required a huge amount of ice.
Love the slim freezer drawer at the top, as holds frequently used & essentials (herbs, peas, etc).
Purging the water filter (situated in the left hand side of the fridge , filter on upper right) is a bit of a pain, as need to put 3 gallons through, (that's 15 liters), that took some time filling and emptying bottles, but once done it shouldn't require to be done again for a year or so? Also have to empty all Ice made in the 24hrs after set up, again not a real issue.
My only other 'gripe' would be that having the unit sat flush with the existing housing and my other units you cannot open either door fully. However, it is on wheels and easily movable, so if necessary I can pull it out for FULL access.
Overall I think worth the money, is very spacious, with shelving options, large capacity and looks divine.
