The hob is very similar in configuration to our previous hob. This hob looks good and the metal that the pans sit on is very sturdy. When saucepans are placed on the hob they do not move. The surface of the metal seems to be very slightly roughened so the pans stay in place (this is not visible on a quick glance). Safety was a big factor in this choice as with one or two other hobs we noticed some reviews that indicated pans were not secure when placed. We also wanted the larger burner at the front so we wouldn't have to lift it from the back. All the burners work well and turn on easily. So far we have nothing negative to say about our new purchase.

Really smart and attractive hob, and really pleased with the shut off setting that it has that I wasn't aware of until was fitted. Would recommend. AO were great too at delivering next day!
