Cumbersome to use. The recordings are good quality but to use any features (e.g. playback) it needs a password. Why? I have it set to record 24/7 with four cameras, but unlike my previous recorder it only records for 9 days until the disc is full. My previous recorder ran for three weeks. Very disappointing.

Swann have let me down on device, there are 4 variants of the dvd and software/firmware it users i have found out. Swann sell this one with no cameras, which is by far the worst one. If you can inspect the label on back of dvr and see it says DVR-5680X (the X is important character) the walk away and don't buy. I have compared this to one with one of the other variants, and it does no have all the functionality and it is not very responsive on doing a lot of the adjustments, such a pity as the other one is great. This is not AO's fault, they probably don't even know the dvr's are not all the same , i blame Swann.

It was a good product and setting it up was not difficult
