You'll find a lot of fridge freezers with water dispensers and for good reason too. Water dispensers give you a fresh supply of chilled water whenever you need to quench that thirst. It's good to know that some models connect straight to your water supply and some come with tanks that you'll need to fill up every now and then.
Frost free tech stops ice from forming inside the fridge freezer. It uses a fan to keep the cool air constantly moving around so nothing ever gets a chance to stick. So, the fridge freezer will perform better for longer (compared to models that build up with ice), and you won't have to waste time defrosting it.
Holiday mode is a great feature for when the fridge freezer isn't being used - whether that's because of a gap between tenants, or the office is closed for the holidays. This setting can be used when your fridge is empty, it’ll change the temperature to keep away any nasty smells, as well as keeping the energy usage low.
No one wants to open a fridge to a bad smell. The anti-bacterial lining is a special coating on the inside of the appliance which stops mould and smells building. So the fridge will also be a hygienic space for all that lovely fresh food.
Perfect for holiday homes, fast freeze will rapidly lower the temperature in the freezer to freeze food quicker (compared to a freezer without fast freeze). So, your guests won’t have to worry about that ice cream melting.
The auto defrost feature stops any icy build-ups in your fridge. A hole near the bottom of the fridge compartment will collect any condensation, meaning ice won’t be able to form around your food.
Freezer guard protection is ideal if you plan on storing a fridge freezer in an environment below 10°C. This is because in these low temperatures freezers can stop working. Freezer guard tech makes sure the appliance stays at the right temperature at all times, so food stays fresh for as long as possible.
Beko’s HarvestFresh™ fridge freezers use clever 3-colour light technology to mimic the natural 24 hour cycle of the sun.

If you don’t currently have a built-in model, then it’s whatever your kitchen fitter recommends. If you do, then when you open the door, you’ll be able to tell if it’s a sliding or fixed hinge.
A fridge freezer with a twin thermostat means it has a thermostat for both the fridge and freezer compartments instead of just one for both. This gives you more control of the temperatures in each space and it means you can turn one compartment off without turning off both.
The holiday setting when chosen will lower the temperature so that your fridge freezer uses less energy. This is ideal for when you’ll be away from home and want to benefit from a lower energy bill. It’s handy to know that you can only use this setting when your fridge is empty.
