Really happy with this - looks good, the build quality is good, sturdy and hopefully will last

Got this to replace an ageing Hotpoint oven that had developed a couple of expensive faults. Not cost effective to repair, but very happy with several Hotpoint appliances I own, so stuck with the brand. Very pleased with this oven, works as you might expect. Recommended!!

Still a very good value product, though their original Creda design had the Solar Plus grill, was vastly superior, 30s warm up time and reliable for 20 years. I don't know why they changed it! The oven not as easy to clean as previous one but about average. Grill handle also inferior but does the job. Controls are good and uncomplicated to use. Cooking of bread gives some unevenness but it was what I expected if I have multiple loaves and I move them around. I don't believe other ovens are any better despite the sales claims. It's the mechanics of airflow. Top oven, like old Creda, has unpredictability as heat comes from different surfaces and if care is not taken, can burn things as it heats up and before thermostat detects temperature. Consequently we rarely use it for cooking. Heat convection from main oven permeates through and is good for pre-warming plates, through wasted energy. Better insulation between the ovens would improve energy efficiency.

Seems really good oven - heats up really quickly. Have only used grill once - seems fine. I like to switch off cooker at wall so clock flashes each time I switch back on and therefore you have to hit the timer to activate the cooker.

Wow, excellent oven for the price and so easy to use, cooks great too.

I'm very pleased with my new hot point double oven. It's easy to use, preheats in a sorter time than my last oven and has cooked/baked very consistently and to time.

Have now used oven for 3 months. Baking is brilliant, oven has lots of room and very easy to clean. Door seals look a bit flimsy but what does one expect for the price. Oven replaces previous 35 year old oven (state of the art in its day) - wish I had replaced it sooner. Came with a drip strip (?) which was not referred to in manual so I only discovered it after installing oven when clearing everything up, so had to reinstall oven although I have not had any condensation problems.

A very good solid cooker. Easy to install , easy to use and a pleasing appearance. Only slight criticism is the unevenness of cooking in the top oven compared to the bottom oven. As this was also characteristic of the outgoing oven , I am inclinded to view this lightly. The preheating time is exceptional , giving a time of 12 mins from cool to 250 deg. Recommended.
