    Great Hood !

    4/5
Just installed last week and works well and the LED lighting is bright. We have not used the Hood in earnest yet as it still needs some ducting to draw the air upwards and out at the top of the new wall units, and still waiting for our new AEG hob to be installed, but when using a portable induction hob under the hood, steaming potatoes, with the fan on the 1st setting, the kitchen windows remained clear, so initial results indicate that the canopy is working well. Contrary to some reviews, the noise level, certainly on setting 1, is very acceptable..Came with a set of charcoal filters so an added bonus we thought.

    Good hood, difficult to fit.

    3/5
Very pleased with the appearance and performance but the fitting let it down. The small retractable pieces designed to hold the unit in place while screws are fixed had for some unaccountable reason been put off centre so they the held the body at an awkward angle. The light & filter cover unit was worse because fitting it securely relied on sliding two catches on the cover over a tab on the frame. These would only slide part way into position and were reluctant to stay in place. I then decided to use the holes in the tab and catch unit to bolt the cover in place only to find the holes did not align (they could have no other purpose). The hood is clearly a unit bought in by both AEG and our old cooker hood supplier (Britannia) from the same source with some updating. The catch on the Britannia was easy to use and secure. Why on earth AEG replaced that with a problematic one is a mystery.

A superb piece of kitchen equipment, easy to install and come with the carbon filters which is a bonus. Not as noisy as described so very happy.

    Amazing!

    5/5
For the price and the size I wasn't expecting such a powerful extractor! We have a 100cm hob and this is more than powerful - with 4 different settings I've used only the first one so far. Would be more suitable for larger kitchens as it's not the quietest fan but it's not an issue as it doesn't need to be on for long! Very easy to install too, we installed it onto the wall ourselves and had the electrician connect it. Thanks AO again for great service, quick delivery and another fab product.
