I hope this will help future purchasers. A 5 star product but a bit of a journey. Great careful delivery of this enormous machine. Turned it on - all lit up but not cooling. Ran self test as per manual - all ok apparently. Manual said it could be the machine is programmed for showroom - all lights but no action. Called Bosch support - very helpful friendly agent who said if the lights are on it cannot be set for showroom. Manual seemed to say otherwise so tried to reset again - this time successful. Manual a bit poor as it does not explicitly say what to expect under all circumstances. Anyway, now works and seems to be a great machine.

4.5 stars is not an option, very good product. After 6 weeks of use it hasn't put a foot wrong. Looks great, does waht it says on the tin very well and has large capacity. Only reason I wanted a new F-F is because the old one was never quite big enough for those occasions when you need it. Well, this one delivers that space for us! It hasn't frozen any fridge food either, which I have suffered in the past. Only quibbles are 1). The front has nylon casters that don't rotate and don't lock when in position, so heavy-ish knocks can move the unit 2). The touch sensitive controls that are recessed will change settings if you open the door with high hands 3). The doors don't shut themselves as easily as the last F-F (perhaps the rear feet are adjustable and I overlooked that in the instructions 4). The outer thin plastic protectors are really hard to remove and takes patience. These are all small and I can live with them. These are the only reasons for not giving the unit 5 stars, perhaps I'm just stingy.

We absolutely love this Bosch fridge freezer. It looks and feels like a quality product and it operates extremely quietly. It’s also reassuring that it’s backed up by a 5 year warranty from Bosch. We love the large cavernous upper fridge layout that this design offers, as opposed to the more common 60/40 vertical split that you see on most alternatives, as this layout suits our usage better.

Bosch if such a reliable brand, I’ve always chosen Bosch for all my appliances, and this American fridge is just fabulous.

Excellent voluminous Bosch fridge freezer; big and heavy. There is nothing not to like!

Great design. We much prefer it to the 'side by side' type of fridge freezer as it gives loads of space in the fridge section and everything is easy to see.

This fridge/freezer is a Tardis. We filled this thing up with our usual amount, and there is still so much room. The freezer departments are surprisingly roomy. It makes almost no noise - certainly compared to our previous one. The fridge doors close with a reassuring clunk, and the alarm will definitely make you aware if you haven't. Cannot fault it. Bosch have done well. Again.

Initial impressions are very favourable - it is very spacious and quiet. We like the 6 drawers in the freezer - our previous appliance had 3 much larger drawers that made keeping track of what was in the freezer more difficult. The deep bottom shelf in each door will take a bit of getting used to - the shelf extends above the internal shelf that sits above the fridge drawers meaning you cannot put items at the front of the shelf. Overall the space is the same, just more of it is in the door than we are used to. Excellent service from AO, as usual.
