Neat with plenty of room inside

Much quieter than my previous chest freezer and so far we have noticed the difference in our energy costs by replacing our old model to a newer model.

This was a replacement for the freezer in the garage. Outside dimensions about the same but seems to have more room within. This I selected as appears to be more suited to the garage environment which the old one was not. The old one was still working and maintained temperature ok but over a month or so I noticed every time I passed it in the garage the pump was on ? So I used an energy plug in monitor to check and found it was using 1.5 unit (kw/H) in 24 hours, whereas the house freezer which is a bit newer was half that. It was 20 years old. So I went for the Fridgemaster . Delivered when requested and old one removed by friendly AO personnel. This Freezer has been in for 2 weeks and working fine. Very quiet. As for running cost, this is using only 0.5 units (Kw/H) that’s a saving of 1 unit (1 Kw/H ) every day / 24hrs . Don’t sound much on my tariff that’s 22p a day saved (£78 a year). Some tariffs at this time are 30p plus so it well worth checking some older appliances. Maybe Appliances online should sell energy monitors or give them free with some purchases. The chest freezer was just as described and very quiet whilst running and plenty of storage space so good value. Very pleased thank you . There isn’t anything I don’t like about it.

Ordered on a Saturday delivered next day, arrived on schedule by friendly delivery drivers, couldn't ask for a better service. The freezers does what it says on the tin... happy with my purchase . Great sized freezer for 2 doesn't take up too much space. ??
