We bought this to replace a previous belling heat pump tumble dryer. This machine is equally good but I wouldn’t bother with the active care part. If you can buy a model without it that is cheaper, just do that. From what I’ve seen so far, the active care is just cooler, and therefore the clothes don’t come out dry. One thing that’s missing is an internal drum light. I miss having that.

Very pleased with Hotpoint Air Pump Tumble Dryer. I’ve heard mention of the heat pump tumble dryers taking longer to dry but I think this dryer is quicker than my old one. I do use wool dryer balls which are supposed to reduce the drying time by 30% and do think they help. Overall it’s a very good machine.

Only had for a couple of weeks but seems to be a great purchase and economical to run
