Very easy to use, straight forward install and drys the clothes well

Looks good and works well. I have three small adverse comments 1) Bottom filter is not easy for an oldie like me to access. 2)Again showing my age I would have preferred a paper instruction manual 3) To get free spare parts after 1 year you need to register by phone. This is just a scheme to try to get you to buy a service contract.

We bought this to replace a previous belling heat pump tumble dryer. This machine is equally good but I wouldn’t bother with the active care part. If you can buy a model without it that is cheaper, just do that. From what I’ve seen so far, the active care is just cooler, and therefore the clothes don’t come out dry. One thing that’s missing is an internal drum light. I miss having that.

Very pleased with Hotpoint Air Pump Tumble Dryer. I’ve heard mention of the heat pump tumble dryers taking longer to dry but I think this dryer is quicker than my old one. I do use wool dryer balls which are supposed to reduce the drying time by 30% and do think they help. Overall it’s a very good machine.
