    Fantastic

Very pleased with this product. After not having a tumble dryer for 2 and a half years this has been so good! The pre programs make it so easy, no switching it on and hoping that your clothes don't shrink. Clothes and towels come out just as I want them each time.

    My new Hotpoint Tumble Dryer

To swop the door to the other side proved too tricky for my husband, so had to call out the engineer for that. Machine is working beautifully, delighted so far.

    Time v Energy use

    5/5
I was dubious about the time likely to be taken in drying clothes, because it is much longer than before. In the end, it is only about 50 mins longer and if that is not using any heating element then that is not a bad timing. I was also worried about all the different settings as I am great with computers but other electronic gadgets get me stressed, but again the hand book is easy to read and the settings are easy to understand - not like some campsite commercial driers I have used!

    Great new tumble dryer

    4/5
The delivery men from AO were very good, keeping me informed on the estimated time of arrival allowing me to get on with things and delivering as scheduled. They took my old appliance away for free and asked where I wanted the new one placed. They wouldn't allow me to help them. As for the tumble dryer it's still early days but whenever I've used it, it has been very good. It certainly looks and feels much nicer than my old one. The clothes are nice and dry and there is a selection to enable me to enable me to choose 'iron dry', etc. I paid for a top quality product and expect it will deliver me savings on my power for years to come. I'm giving the dryer a four star rating as I haven't been using it very long but the quality is five star so far.

Energy efficiency doesn’t have to mean compromise!

    5/5
Living in a swamp means rarely being able to dry washing on the line or even in the house, so a tumble dryer is pretty much a necessity, however as The four horsemen of the apocalypse ( Covid, Boris, Putin & Brexit) have paved the way for energy companies to trouser mass profits and charge whatever they like, we had to do a lot pf naval gazing to ensure we could afford to run such a luxury item or forever smell damp like my Aunty Mildred! So we plum-ed for the more expensive heat pump ( could be a hamster inside for all i know) design, on the promise of significantly cheaper running costs. It’s superb, it’s so quiet, has loads of functions, easy to load / unload, super easy to empty the water and do the uber satisfying lint removal thing. Yes it takes slightly longer to dry a full load given the heat pump technology, but i’ll be sticking the few quid i saved in my pocket rather than lining the pockets of some offshore virgin island energy CEO.
